3. Don Herron’s Dashiell Hammett Tour

In the 1930s, famous noir writer Dashiell Hammett lived in and Francisco and used the city as the setting for his Sam Spade and Thin Man detective stories. For thirty years guide Don Herron, who has received accolades from the New York Times and LA Times, has donned a trench coat and fedora to lead visitors through the fog shrouded streets of the city, taking in many of the settings for the "Maltese Falcon" and locations where the author lived.
