For the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) community, June is busy with events. All of it leads up to the last weekend when the San Francisco Pride Parade and Celebration takes place. This year marks its 38th.
Along with the parade on Market Street and celebration at the Civic Center, the LGBT community also has festivals, conferences, exhibitions, and other events to possibly attend. Among them, the month-long National Queer Arts Festival and the San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival.

| Golden Gate Men's Chorus | San Francisco Conservatory of Music, June 21, 8 p.m.; June 22, 5 p.m.; June 24, 8 p.m. | Titled "The Bond of Love," this concert will feature two West Coast premieres by David Del Tredici and Steven Sametz. Tickets are $20. |
| Pride Concert | First Unitarian Universalist Church, June 26-27, 8 p.m. | A musical concert by the S.F. Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band, Lesbian/Gay Chorus, and S.F. Gay Men's Chorus. The theme is "Our Message is Music." Celebrating 30 years. Tickets $15-$45. |
