This year marks the 31st year of the San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival and the marquee: Frameline 31 will feature 11 days of LGBT cinema from around the world. Themes include love, lust, friendship, family, and more, and perspectives reflect a creative diversity within the community. See features, documentaries, and short films.

RoboGames 2007

It’s the largest open robot competition in the world. Formerly the ROBOlympics, this event features 70 events over the course of three days. Attend it on any day and see your share of combat robots, walking humanoids, androids, and more. It’s an event that wows everyone.

56th Annual San Francisco Juneteenth

Juneteenth is a yearly observance of June 19, 1865 -- the announcement of emancipation in Texas, a full two years after Abraham Lincoln had enacted the Emancipation Proclamation. It is a reminder, a celebration, and a family reunion for the extended Bay Area African-American community. Outside of Texas, this is the oldest and largest celebration of its kind. The summer festival will offer live entertainment, great food, and arts and crafts.

Fiesta Filipina 2007
Philippine Independence Day Celebration

During the weekend of June 16-17, Fiesta Filipina will celebrate Philippine Independence Day with dancing, singing, comedy, traditional food, arts and crafts and cultural shows.

53rd Annual Precious Cheese North Beach Festival

This festival carries the distinction of being the "oldest urban street fair in the country" and annually, it attracts more than 150,000 people. Experience the Italian and Beat history of SF's North Beach and enjoy many festival treats, such as live music, arts and crafts, gourmet cuisine, and beer gardens. One highlight will definitely be the pizza tossing demonstrations by Champion Tony Gemignani. Indeed, it's sure to be another fun weekend in this historic neighborhood and of course, it's Father's Day Weekend too.

70th Annual Stern Grove Music Festival

This is it: 70 years! Happening at treasured Sigmund Stern Grove, this music festival features a great history of music and continues its tradition with every new line-up. This year's guest list again offers a terrific range of musical styles, from Huey Lewis & The News to the San Francisco Opera. Concerts are held on Sundays at 2 p.m. Get their early and find your spot!

37th Annual San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration

Pride Celebration Weekend will begin on Saturday with the pride celebration and finish Sunday with the famous Pride Parade. And as is every year, thousands will attend each event. Among the Grand Marshals this year will be Pat Norman, founder and executive director of the Institute for Community Health Outreach.

Fillmore Street Jazz Festival

One weekend, three stages, over 300 artists, and more than 90,000 guests anticipated for the annual jazz festival that celebrates a neighborhood and a musical genre that continues to reinvent itself, while remaining respectful of its rich history. This street fair will offer eight blocks of fine art and crafts, gourmet food and beverages, and nonstop jazz.
