RoboGames 2008
Its the largest open robot competition in the world. Formerly the ROBOlympics, this event features 70 events over the course of three days. Attend it on any day and see your share of combat robots, walking humanoids, androids, and more. Its an event that wows everyone.

54th Annual Precious Cheese North Beach Festival
This festival carries the distinction of being the "oldest urban street fair in the country" and annually, it attracts more than 150,000 people. Experience the Italian and Beat history of SF's North Beach and enjoy many festival treats, such as live music, arts and crafts, gourmet cuisine, and beer gardens. One highlight will definitely be the pizza tossing demonstrations by Champion Tony Gemignani. Indeed, it's sure to be another fun weekend in this historic neighborhood and of course, it's Father's Day Weekend too.

S.F. International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival
Frameline 32
This year marks the 32nd year of the San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival and it will once again feature 11 days of LGBT cinema from around the world. Themes include love, lust, friendship, family, and more, and perspectives reflect a creative diversity within the community. See features, documentaries, and short films.

57th Annual San Francisco Juneteenth
Juneteenth is a yearly observance of June 19, 1865 -- the announcement of emancipation in Texas, a full two years after Abraham Lincoln had enacted the Emancipation Proclamation. It is a reminder, a celebration, and a family reunion for the extended Bay Area African-American community. Outside of Texas, this is the oldest and largest celebration of its kind. The summer festival will offer live entertainment, great food, and arts and crafts.

38th Annual San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration
Pride Celebration Weekend will begin on Saturday with the pride celebration and finish Sunday with the famous Pride Parade. And as is every year, thousands will attend each event. The Celebrity Grand Marshal for 2008 will be Cyndi Lauper.
