In additional to the exhibition, the museum will also be hosting educational programs about the 1906 earthquake and fire, such as:
Panel Discussion, Disasters in Pictures
April 1, 2pm, Phyllis Wattis Theater
"In commemoration of the centennial of the 1906 earthquake and fire that struck the Bay Area, panelists discuss the various ways catastrophic events are recorded, interpreted, and remembered through photography."
The panel includes Corey Keller, assistant curator of photography, SFMOMA; Robin Kelsey, assistant professor, history of art and architecture at Harvard University; Mark Klett, artist and faculty at Arizona State University.
