While the North Beach neighborhood is famous for it's Italian eateries and other fine dining options, you dont have to spend a bundle to get your hands on some seriously flavorful eats.
Golden Boy Pizza, a neighborhood institution since 1978, serves up square Italian focaccio-style slices right onto the street from it's action-packed location on Green Street.
Try the Clam and Garlic or the Pesto Vegetarian slices for a unique San Francisco experience or go with a classic like Italian sausage or pepperoni and cheese - you really wont be disapointed with any choice.
You can also grab a bar seat inside of Golden Boy and wash your slice (or slices) down with a micro-brew draft beer - available by the glass or pitcher.
On Friday and Saturday nights, due in part to the fact that it is smack in the middle of the tighest concentration of bars in the area, Golden Boy is open till 2:30am and usually sports a line down the sidewalk.
