Interest in natural and organic wines is heating up these days, and it's no surprise San Francisco is leading the way. Given SF's green spirit and proximity to so many wineries it makes sense that the latest trend in drinking is happening at organic wine bars. In the forefront is Yield, a cozy spot that serves only natural, bio dynamic and organic wines. Also popular is Terroir, which is part wine store and part wine bar. Both places offer enticing nibbles like cheese and salami plates, and each encourages patrons to linger. Knowledgeable staff is on hand to offer suggestions; and special events and wine tastings are often on the calendar.
